The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey opens their 2018 season with Tartuffe by Moliere, translated by Richard Wilber, and directed by the theatre's Artistic Director, Bonnie J. Monte. show will be on stage at the F.M Kirby Shakespeare Theatre from May 16 through June 3. Broadwayworld.com had the pleasure of interviewing Patrick Toon who plays Orgon in Tartuffe.

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey begins its 56th season with its first Main Stage production, Tartuffe. Artistic Director Bonnie J. Monte will direct this masterful French comedy that hasn't been seen on STNJ's stage since 2001. Renowned translator Richard Wilbur brings Moliere's witty words to brilliant life for English-speaking audiences. Veteran company member Brent Harris will play the title role and will be joined by STNJ favorites Patrick Toon and Victoria Mack, as well as two-time Tony Award nominee, Vivian Reed. Performances begin May 16.

Harold and Maude by Colin Higgins is directed by Thom Southerland,  Artistic Director of Charing Cross Theatre. Itb has been nominated for 5 Off West End Awards - Best Female: Sheila Hancock, Best Male: Bill Milner, Best Costume: Jonathan Lipman, Best Set: Francis O'Connor, Best Lighting: Matt Clutterham.

Casting has been confirmed for the first ever UK & Ireland Tour of Titanic The Musical. Directed by returning director Thom Southerland, 25 actors from across the country will take the production on its maiden UK and Ireland tour, to visit the cities and communities whose forebears built, manned and sailed on the famous ship.

Syracuse Stage's first production of 2017 is the 2013 Pulitzer Prize winning play, Disgraced, by Ayad Akhtar. Brilliantly directed by May Adrales at the Archbold Theatre at the Syracuse Stage/SU Drama Complex, the 90-minute production left the audience emotionally stunned as the curtain went down. After the phenomenal success of Disney and Cameron Mackintosh's Mary Poppins, Syracuse Stage switches gears and turns on a powerful and explosive drama as the Pulitzer Prize-winning play Disgraced opens on Jan. 27 in the Archbold Theatre at the Syracuse Stage/SU Drama Complex, 820 E. Genesee St. Preview performances are Jan. 25 and 26.
