Scott Emmons Named Dean of UWM's Peck School of the Arts

Emmons, a professor of music education, joined the UWM faculty in 1992. He has served as interim dean of the Peck School during the 2012-13 Year of the Arts at UWM, a celebration of the Peck School's 50th anniversary.
Dixie Longate Set to Tour Milwaukee Landmarks, 5/15

Dixie will make her stop at the Milwaukee Public Market, 400 North Water Street, at11:30 am and at La Perla, 734 South 5th Street, at 12:00 pm on the 15th. During this time, she will be taking photos with patrons and various Milwaukee landmarks. This tour will kick off her engagement at the Marcus Center's Vogel Hall that runs May 14-26.

Marcus Center For The Performing Arts Releases Updated Schedule for LIVE @ PECK PAVILION

This series, which started last summer, will now feature The Spirit Family Reunion on Tuesday, August 20 at 7:30 pm. The series will also include types of performances the Center typically presents inside the building on its newly updated grounds. This is a way for the Marcus Center to invite the public to sample the arts in a marvelous setting for a nominal cost.

MYSO Music Director Retires After 50 Year Conducting Career
