Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts, the renowned summer arts day camp whose alumni include Olivia Thirlby and Natalie Portman, will host an Open House on Sunday April 22 from 11 AM to 2 PM at its Long Island woodland campus in the Huntington area. New programs for 2012 include "Summerstock," for advanced theater students, which will feature study of overall production elements, and public off-site performances.
Usdan, attended by students from New York City and throughout the Tri-State Area, is at 185 Colonial Springs Road in Wheatley Heights. Students are transported by air-conditioned buses, and no audition is needed for most courses.
