Photo Flash: The Rep's NEXT TO NORMAL, Starring Sarah Litzsinger, Jarrod Emick, et al.

The Rep's production of NEXT TO NORMAL opened December 6 at the Quadracci Powerhouse in Milwaukee.

This groundbreaking and award-winning musical explores how one suburban family copes with crisis. With powerful lyrics and an electrifying pop-rock score of more than 30 songs, this intense, emotional and ultimately hopeful musical aims right for the heart with its story of a family coming to terms with its past and bravely facing its future. The Rep is among the first regional theaters in the United States to produce the show following its long Broadway run and National Tour. The Milwaukee production features the dynamic creative team behind last season's smash-hit musical, Cabaret.

The cast features Tony Award winner Jarrod Emick as Dr. Madden/Dr. Fine, NEXT TO NORMAL original Broadway cast member Tim Young as Gabe, Kevin Vortmann (A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC) as Dan, Laurie Veldheer (NEWSIES at the Paper Mill Playhouse) as Natalie, Danny Henning (The Rep's CABARET) as Henry, and Broadway's longest running Belle in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, Sarah Litzsinger, as Diana.
