Fri-Sat, July 6-7 - Whole: Emma Draves MFA Thesis, 7:30pm, Kenilworth 508
Choreographer Emma Draves presents this concert informed by contemporary and bharatanatyam movement vocabulary, Hindu mythology and literature. Through the metaphor of space, the audience is both presented with and integrated into these works which challenge how we view and experience identity.

Fri-Sun, July 27-29 - The Music of Leo Kottke, Kenilworth Square East
Offering an intensive, three-day workshop on the music of guitarist/composer Leo Kottke. Archival video, enhanced computer capabilities, and specifically designed pedagogical materials will enable participants to study these pieces in depth. Students should have at least some intermediate facility on the guitar and be able to read tablature. Watch the video!

An exhibition recognizing contemporary female artists as visual mediators, actively engaged in a dialogue with science and scientific research.Featuring works by Zoë Darling, LJ Douglas, Lauren Levato, Kelly Radermacher, Leah Schreiber, and Lynn Tomaszewski.

Through Sun, July 22 - Gos Sa Mer: Santiago Cucullu + Ester Partegas, Lynden Sculpture Garden
In Gos Sa Mer, their first collaborative endeavor, artists Santiago Cucullu + Ester Partegàs examine the paradoxical relationship between the seemingly natural environment of the Lynden Sculpture Garden and the industrial appearance of the sculptures installed within it. Santiago Cucullu is a guest lecturer in the Art & Design Department.

Through Sun, Sept 23 - Cecelia Condit: Within a Stone's Throw, Opening reception on 6/1 from 6-8pm. Artist remarks from 6:30-7pm, Madison Museum of Contemporary Arts
The Madison Museum of Contemporary Art presents Cecelia Condit: Within a Stone's Throw in the museum's State Street Gallery and lobby. The exhibition, composed of the artist's recent videos and large-scale photographs, investigates perceptions of reality, scale, and nature. Condit is a professor with the Peck School of the Arts Film Department.
