Marcus Center For The Performing Arts Announces Special Events to Benefit The Women's Center in Waukesha

Jamie and Jason Poole, Wild Dreams Stables and Carol Hayden, event organizer, invite you to be part of a global movement to RISE up and break the chain of domestic abuse. This event is to help raise money for The Women's Center in Waukesha and will be held on Thursday, February 14 at the Wild Dreams Stables on S58 W29914 Holiday Rd. in Mukwonago, WI. The stables will be available for an open house from 10:00 am-7:00 pm along with food provided by Mustang Shelly's Roadhouse.

The day will also include various activities along with the opportunity to experience the healing powers of interacting with the spiritual equine friends who call Wild Dreams home.

The activities schedule include:

Zumba! Demonstration at 10:30 am (by Deb Jansen). Please dress for un-heated arena, as you might for a brisk winter walk. We will be on sand - wear shoes that can get SANDY!
(please arrive 15 mins. early dressed to MOVE!)

Witness the dance of the horse by Dressage Trainer Extraordinaire Andrea Schten at 1:00 p.m. Andrea will demonstrate the beauty and discipline of dressage.

Melissa Gibson, practicing veterinary technician will be giving an Equine Massage demonstration at 2:00 pm.

Melissa will be able to complete four additional massages during the day. Registration is required. Sign your horse up for a massage by calling 720-276-8488. Fee: $40.00.

Hear the personal testimony of Carol Hayden at 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m, who has healed through horses. Carol will demonstrate natural horsemanship.
Jon M. Gieche, DMV and owner of Kettle Moraine Equine Hospital will be
discussing Equine Wellness issues at 6:00 p.m.

Donations for Zumba and other demonstration will be gladly accepted for The Women's Center. All activities will be held in the arena so please dress appropriately. This private property is not handicapped accessible. Activities and times are subject to change.
